TRAVELLING TO IMBER COURT

Imber Court is a sports club and corporate meeting venue located on Ember Lane, East Molesey which plays hosts to a number of sports teams including Met Police FC and Met Police RFC.

TRAFFIC IN THE AREA

Imber Court is just 5 miles from Twickenham where England will face the All-Blacks on Saturday.  This match, like ours, will kick off at 3pm.  This is likely to result in significant increases in traffic in the area and will definitely impact the journey of anyone travelling from the Kingston/ Twickenham direction.   Please consider this when organising travel to the match.

Please also note that there are currently road works taking place on Ember Lane which may also slow up traffic in the stadium vicinity.

DIRECTIONS

Supporters travelling from Newport will need to take the M4 towards London.

At junction 10, exit onto A329 towards Wokingham/Bracknell before joining the M3 towards Sunbury-on-Thames.

Take Exit 1 from the M3 towards Staines, Kingston, Sunbury.  After about 5 miles, you will need to take the 4th exit onto Staines Road to remain on the A308.

You will then need to head onto Hampton Court Way/ A309 before looking out for Embercourt Road.

Once you are on Embercourt Rd, Ember Lane should appear on your left.

This journey is 132 miles one-way and should take around 2 hours 30 minutes with normal traffic; however, please pay attention to information in the above “Traffic in the Area” section.

PARKING

Parking is available at Imber Court on a first-come, first-served basis.  All football supporters will be required to use the rear carpark at Imber Court (with the front carpark reserved for Imber Court members only).  The best postcode for the rear car park is KT10 8EG

If you are unable to park in this car park, please use street parking (adhering to any and all parking regulations in the area).

TRAVEL BY TRAIN

The closest train station to Imber Court is Thames Ditton which is just a half-mile (11-minute walk) from the stadium.

To reach Thames Ditton, supporters will need to travel from Newport to London Paddington, take a tube on the Bakerloo line from London Paddington to London Waterloo, and continue the journey from London Waterloo to Thames Ditton.

This journey will take around 3 hours and 20 minutes.

On weekends, you can also make the train journey to Thames Ditton in just under three hours.  This will require four changes: Reading, Virginia Water, Weybridge, and Surbiton.

ARRIVAL AT IMBER COURT

Newport County AFC supporters will enter the ground using the turnstiles near the swimming pool/gym and will occupy the covered end adjacent to Mounted Branch.

As well as the Met Police Club House, an additional refreshment outlet will be available near the rear entrance turnstiles as will toilet facilities.
