Anthony on comeback trail
Byron Anthony continues his rehabilitation after being given the go ahead to resume training by medical experts. County Physio Adam Roche, who is working hard with all the players to get them back in contention for selection, provides the medical synopsis:
After nearly 6 months out with a double fracture to both the tibia and fibula, Byron Anthony will resume full training this week. Many months of hard work, rehabilitation and being a consummate professional will see Byron returning nearly 3 months earlier than anticipated. With a pin running the length of his tibia, that will act as a reinforcement to the bone, making it extremely strong, Byron is at no risk of further injury. From what I have seen during his end stage rehab, Byron is moving extremely well and I have no doubt he will kick on from here.
